К вопросу изучения ойратских гидронимов бассейна реки Или

Abstract

В статье рассматриваются ойратские гидронимы бассейна реки Или (Или, Текес, Джиргалан, Улан булак, Арцата Мусар и др.), зафиксированные в письменных и устных источниках XVII–XXI вв. в разных графических обликах (ойратское письмо тодо бичиг, латиница, кириллица). Ойратские наименования при передаче на другие языки существенно искажаются, что значительно осложняет их верификацию и этимологизацию. В основу включенных в круг рассмотрения материалов вошли перевод памятника XVII в. «Биография Зая-пандиты», карта Джунгарии И. Унковского (1722–1724), карта Джунгарского государства И. Г. Рената (1738), научные и научно-популярные работы российских и зарубежных авторов, словари монгольских и тюркских языков, архивные материалы, хранящиеся в архивах Института восточных рукописей РАН и Калмыцкого научного центра РАН, а также личные полевые материалы авторов статьи, собранные в Иссык-Кульской области Кыргызстана (2009, 2012, 2014, 2021) и уезде Монголкюре Синьцзян-Уйгурского автономного района КНР (2012, 2013, 2014, 2021). Географические названия Илийского бассейна очень хорошо сохранились в фольклоре сарт-калмыков, проживавших до второй половины XIX в. в долине р. Текес, а также в ойрат-монгольском фольклоре Синьцзяна. Среди выявленных авторами статьи ойратских гидронимов бассейна Или имеются: 1) наименования, которые можно отнести как к монгольской (ойратской), так и к тюркской лексике; 2) гибридные наименования, состоящие из тюркских и монгольских слов; 3) исконно ойратские наименования; 4) наименования, связанные с буддизмом. Семантический и этимологический анализ ойратских гидронимов, обозначающих водные объекты бассейна реки Или, свидетельствует о том, что в прошлом судьба ойратов-кочевников во многом зависела от водного ландшафта, с учетом которого осуществлялись сезонные перекочевки, что и обусловило детализированность соответствующей терминологии.

The material under consideration includes the translation of the 17th century “Biography of Zaya-pandita,” the map of Dzungaria by Ivan Unkovsky (1722–1724), the map of the Dzungar state of 1738 by Johan Gustaf Renat, dictionaries of the Mongolian and Turkic languages, the archive materials of the Institute of Oriental Manuscripts of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Kalmyk Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, as well as personal field materials of the authors collected in the Issyk-Kul region of Kyrgyzstan (in 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021) and the Mongol-Kurya county of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of People’s Republic of Korea (in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2021). Geographical names of the Ili River basin are very well preserved in folklore of Sart Kalmyks living in the Tekes River valley until the second half of the 19th century, as well as in the Oirat-Mongolian folklore of Xinjiang. Typologically, Oirat hydronyms of the Ili River basin include: 1) names that can be attributed to both Mongolian (Oirat) and Turkic vocabulary, 2) hybrid names consisting of Turkic and Mongolian words, 3) original Oirat names, 4) names associated with Buddhism. The semantic and etymological analysis of the Oirat hydronyms of the Ili River basin indicates that in past times, seasonal migrations of the Oirats-nomads largely depended on the water landscape, which reflected in the detailed terminology of hydrographic objects.
