Образ Другого в романе М. Степновой «Хирург»

Abstract

В романе М. Степновой «Хирург» образ Другого воплощается в сюжете творения. Две сюжетные линии отражают зарождение и смерть патриархального мира мужчины-творца. Точкой отсчета становится арабская линия – мир, лишенный женщин, выставляющий их за рамки истории. Завершением же сюжета творения является мир, объективирующий женщину, использующий ее в качестве глины, материала для воплощения идеального феминного создания. Подобная модель приводит к травме колонизатора и завершению патриархальной цивилизации.

In M. Stepnova's novel «The Surgeon», the image of Another is embodied in the plot of creation. Two storylines reflect the birth and death of the patriarchal world of the male creator. The starting point is the Arab line – a world without women, exposing them beyond the framework of history. The completion of the plot of creation is the world that objectifies a woman, using her as clay, a material for the embodiment of an ideal feminine creation. Such model leads to the trauma of the colonizer and the end of the patriarchal civilization.
