Граница и предел: к соотношению понятий

Abstract

Статья посвящена осмыслению специфики соотношения понятий границы и предела. Стремление обеспечить должную концептуальную ориентированность осуществляемых изысканий и лаконичность изложения их результатов побудила авторов при отборе материала для анализа ограничиться теми работами, в которых не только раскрывается содержание понятий границы и предела, но и вносится вклад в упорядочивание представлений о соотношении между ними. В частности, анализ идей Аристотеля, И. Канта, Г. В. Ф. Гегеля позволил выстроить исходные представления о сущности и взаимосвязи границы и предела. Обращение к работам отечественных философов (Д. В. Пивоваров, Д. М. Федяев и Л. И. Чинакова, О. В. Боровская, Е. Н. Струк) способствовало формированию многомерного видения обсуждаемых понятий, позволяющих продуктивно разрабатывать широкий круг философских проблем. Показано, что понятие границы, в котором мыслится «начало и конец всякого определенного бытия» (Д. В. Пивоваров), богаче по содержанию, чем понятие предела. При этом понятие предела, будучи атрибутом понятия границы, обобщает в себе представление о черте, разделяющей противоположности.

The article is devoted to understanding the specifi cs of the relationship between the concepts of boundary and limit. The desire to ensure the conceptual focus of the ongoing research and the concise presentation of its results prompted the authors while selecting material for analysis to focus on those works, in which not only the content of the concepts of boundaries and limits is described, but there are also contributions to the ordering of ideas about the relationship between them. In particular, the analysis of the ideas of Aristotle, I. Kant, G. W. F. Hegel allowed to build the original ideas about the nature and relationship of the boundary and the limit. Appeal to the works of domestic philosophers (D. V. Pivovarov, D. M. Fedyaev, L. I. Chunakova, O.V. Borovskaya, E. N. Struk) has helped to develop the formation of a multidimensional vision of the discussed concepts, enabling productive development of a wide range of philosophical problems. It is shown that the concept of the boundary, in which “the beginning and the end of any certain existence” (D. V. Pivovarov) is thought, is richer in content than the concept of the limit. At the same time, the concept of limit, being an attribute of the concept of border, generalizes the idea of the line separating opposites.
