Abstract

A system of element transformations corresponding to the principles of symmetry is revealed at the semantic level of textual organization. The image of the lyrical female character is considered as a basic element with a great diversity of objects and phenomena of the poetic world to be its reflections. The transformations of the initial image were demonstrated to be executed along four different avenues. As a result an enclosed system of similarities develops and all elements in the poetic world acquire identical meanings.
