Рассматривается финишный этап законодательной работы, определяющей контуры новых отношений власти и прессы и закладывающей основы перемен в цензурном режиме.

The Press law of April 6, 1865 is a final document of the Censorship reform, which was prepared and carried out during the first decade of Alexander II reign. The final stage of the legislative work is being examined, which determined the boundaries of new relationship between the press and the state power and laid the foundation of the changes of the censorial regime.
