Миф как объект исследования в культурной антропологии

Abstract

Methodological research experience myth gained in the framework of modern Western anthropology, deserves serious attention. From the beginning, anthropology, defining its areas of competence within the boundaries of culture and life of the so-called «primitive» peoples, is strongly associated with the ideas of evolution. Follows immediately, preceding any general assessment of the methodological potential of anthropology, noted that the concept of myth and the idea of evolution are genetically incompatible with each other. Indeed, even if pay attention only to the external features of human perception of myth and mythological subjects, it should be obvious that the myth implies involution rather than evolution.

Критически проанализировав методологический опыт исследования мифа, накопленный в рамках современной западноевропейской антропологии, автор обосновывает тезис, что понятие мифа и идея эволюции генетически несовместимы друг с другом: миф предполагает скорее инволюцию, чем эволюцию.
