Abstract

The screening was conducted by the activity of non-specific extracel­lular lignin peroxidase and manganese peroxidase. Was identify the ability of a num­ber of strains of bacteria of the genus Azospirillum to produce lignin peroxidase and manganese peroxidase. Also was found the ability of a number of strains of bacteria of the genus Azospirillum to oxidation of number of aromatic substrates. Was found the accumulation of the investigated enzymes in the area of the bacterial aggregations on the surface of plant roots.
